I started writing production software in 2017 and never stopped. What that taught me is the thing most operators learn too late: the constraint is almost never the technology. It's distribution, trust, and whether the people you're building for actually change their behaviour.
I'm Group Chairman of The Techverse Corporations, which I founded in 2020. Five operating companies sit under it, spanning education, the future of work, clean energy and media. I also run DataQuota, my engineering consultancy, which is how I stay hands-on in code rather than only in board papers.
